Platforms

Nuix Collector Suite installs on a Windows computer, but can collect data from various systems depending on the software license:

A ‘Network Collector’ license allows collecting from the local Windows computer and any network share accessible from that computer.

A ‘SharePoint Collector’ license allows collecting content from a SharePoint server running SharePoint 2010 or older.

A ‘Portable Collector’ license allows the preparation of “portable collection devices” – i.e. portable installations of Nuix Collector, typically stored on a USB drive, external hard drive or a network share. Nuix Collector can run from these portable collection devices on Windows, Linux, and macOS computers* to perform file collections, volatile information collections, RAM image collections and disk image collections. Refer to the System Requirements sections within the Nuix Collector Suite User Guide, Version 100.8.0 for details regarding platform support for each type of collection.

*32-bit and 64-bit versions of Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. 64-bit editions of macOS High Sierra, Mojave, Catalina, Big Sur, Monterey and Ventura.
