File repository

The file repository stages files to be imported and exported, and stores documents, images, and indexes. Nuix Discover environments can utilize multiple file repositories. File repositories can be dedicated to be assigned as file transfer, archive, or as an external Amazon S3 bucket.

The application supports multiple types of file share options:

A dedicated file share host with direct attached storage, such as a storage area network (SAN)

Network-attached storage (NAS)

SAN or fast disk directly attached to the server hosting the Content search service
