Configure default directories
Nuix Investigate utilizes several locations in the default installation directory to read and write artifacts such as logs, user data, and case inventory. If necessary, the location of these directories can be changed using the Nuix Configuration Utility to better suit the requirements or limitations of your environment.
To change the default directories used by Nuix Neo:
From the Nuix Configuration Utility, select Global or Investigate from the Service Selector.
Locate and modify the paths for the following directories.

This property defines a single location or network share where the following shared application data folders are located: Important: Changing this property does not move existing files from their current location. Before updating this property, learn how to Modify the Nuix Shared application folder. cases - Nuix cases. Use this property when storing cases in the same location or network share as other shared Nuix application data. export-discover - Exported items for Nuix Discover. exports - Exported items and reports. group-config - Custom highlighting and hotkey configurations. searchFilterIcons - Custom icons used for user-created search filters. shared-user-data - Search lists, custom metadata, and other profiles. users-config - User-created Dashboard perspectives. user-scripts - User-generated scripts. visualizationConfig - Custom dashboard analytics. After modifying any properties, click Save Configuration and restart the service.
