Case Management

The Management section of Nuix Investigate allows Administrators and Users with specific UMS group privileges to manage and configure different features within a case. You must be in a case to see Case Management.

To access the Case Management section of Nuix Investigate:

Open a case.

Select the Management Assign search filters icon. icon from the Global Header.

Note: If you navigate to the Management section from a case, click Back to <case name> to navigate back to the same case.

Case Assignment

To manage users assigned to the selected case:

Click the Management Assign search filters icon. icon from the Global Header.

Select Case Assignment from the menu.

View case information including:

Case Name

Description

Version

Date Created

Investigator

View groups to which you have access that are assigned to the case. For each group, the following are shown:

Total other cases assigned to the group, not including the case you have open.

List of privileges assigned to the group. Click to view privileges.

Select Modify users in group for a specific group to open the Modify users in a group window:

The Users tab lists users that are available to be assigned or unassigned to the group.

Select or deselect valid users to the group and click Submit to save.

View results of submittal to the group including:

Username (or number of users if more than one) that were successfully added.

Error (or number of errors if more than one) attempting to add a user.

Username (or number of users if more than one) already belongs to the group.

The Cases tab lists cases that are assigned to the group.
