System requirements

Nuix provides flexible deployment options and is easily tuned to optimize performance based on the use case and environmental requirements. Several factors should be taken into consideration when sizing your Nuix environment.

These factors include but are not limited to:

Type of data to be ingested. For example, heavily compressed files utilize more system resources.

The volume of data (both in file size and quantity) to be processed. Larger cases require more system resources.

The number of users that are to concurrently access or search cases.

Features used when reviewing cases. For instance, heavy usage of visual analytics utilize more system resource usage.

Hardware and licensing to be considered when data processing throughput is a concern. For example, you must consider the capacity to process 2 TB a week versus 10 TB.

Processing data with more Nuix Workstation's Processing settings takes greater resources, some of which are more resource intensive than others. This only provides a starting point when sizing your Nuix environment. Contact your Nuix Account Manager or Nuix Solutions Consultant for more details.
