To sort it based on item name, folder name, or other filter.

To filter the data you would like to view and analyze, select or clear the evidence as required.

Excluded items

Lists items you have excluded from consideration. These are organized by name and display their location in the data set.
‎After you exclude items, they are suppressed from the Results view and Document Navigator; but still appear as part of the children or attachment tabs in the Preview pane.

Custodians

Lists the Custodians who have been allocated to items prior to ingestion or through the Results pane.

Item Sets

Displays Item Sets including all batches added to a particular Item Set, as originals and duplicate documents within the set.

Automatic Classifiers

Displays user-defined Automatic Classifiers that include Training, Automatically Classified, and Skipped items.

Automatic Classification, also called Technology-Assisted Review or Machine Learning is a technology largely driven by eDiscovery that is built on Predictive Coding. Predictive coding is a way of directing a computer to automatically classify documents (emails, or any other electronic evidence) based on statistical analysis and machine learning techniques. To learn more about Automatic Classification, see the Nuix Workstation Automatic Classification Feature Guide for a detailed description of the feature, benefits, and best practices.

Production Sets

Displays Productions Sets created on export or manually through the Results pane.

The Production Set process is part of the legal workflow that enables you to prepare and check the quality of a set of items according to various requirements. These requirements include assigning a numbering scheme to give each item a unique identifier that can be referenced through the life cycle of the case, and can include a digitally imaged version of the native item. To learn more about Production Sets, see the Nuix Workstation Production Sets Feature Guide for a detailed description of the feature, benefits, and best practices.

Filtered Items

Displays all in-built Nuix Workstation filters and offers a quick way to scope down to a set of items based on item metadata, such as item type, annotation, Digest List, Word List, skin tone analysis, irregular items, language, or review job.

Hover on the icon for the tool to see their names.

The Document Navigator filter allows you to show or hide selected navigators. This allows you to:

Reduce the setup time when interrogating data sets. This allows you to

Customize the view and use it repeatedly for all forensic investigations across subsequently opened Workbench tabs.

To view panel sections separated evenly, select Evenly Split Panels; to show empty panels, select Show Empty Panels.
