Promote documents to Nuix Discover

To promote Nuix Workstation documents to Nuix Discover:

Access a Nuix Workstation case.

In the Document Navigator, under the Production Sets folder, right-click a Production Set and select Export > Legal Export to > Promote to Nuix Discover.

The Promote to Nuix Discover window opens.

In the Select account list, select the API Token.

in the Select case list, select one or more cases.

The Deduplicate option is selected by default. Clear it if you do not want Nuix Discover to run deduplication on the promoted items.

Note: If you clear the Deduplicate option, that setting will overwrite the default settings for the selected Nuix Discover case.

Click OK.

A summary appears with the Case Name and number of items you want to promote.

Click Promote to Nuix Discover to proceed.

The Exporting Items dialog box opens to show you the progress of the export process. When promotion is complete, the Export Results window appears.

Click Open case in Nuix Discover to view the documents in Nuix Discover.

Metadata commonly promoted includes the document title, document type, document description, and Document ID. For promoted M365 chat messages, the metadata includes the member leave and join events, and chat reactions.
